Adult Day and Assisted Living
In partnership with Heritage Day Health Centers, InCare provides support to physically- and/or cognitively-impaired central Ohio seniors who live at home, but who may need assistance during the day. Adult day services benefit not only the client, but the client’s caregiver, as well. Adult day services give caregivers much-needed relief from daily caregiving, while providing the security that a loved one is receiving individual care.
INCARE ADULT DAY SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Health monitoring by a registered nurse, along with medication administration, as prescribed by the clients’ physician
- Rehabilitation by licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as prescribed by the clients’ physician
- Nutritious meals and snacks, with provisions for special diets
- Personal care assistance with activities of daily living – bathing is offered as requested
- Counseling by social workers to both clients and caregivers, with referrals to as-needed community resources
- Activities that encourage companionship, independence, and self-expression
